Modes of Play

You can change the current mode of play in the BingoMEGA Options dialog box. BingoMEGA has two modes:

Manual

In this mode, you have to follow the balls as they are called and manually mark the drawn numbers on your cards.

You can mark cells in your cards in three ways:

Note that when you play in manual mode the program does not give you hints, that is, you have to carefully follow the game and make sure that you do not miss a bingo for a certain card.

To play in manual mode, open the Options dialog box and clear the selection of the Auto Dauber check box.

Automatic

When the game begins, BingoMEGA automatically follows the balls for you and marks the drawn numbers in the cells of your cards; you cannot mark or clear numbers on the cards. The program automatically reorders your cards after every next ball is called. The card that is closest to winning bingo is placed on the first position of the first row. The second-closest card is on the second position, and so on. Use the numbers of the cards and the Cards area to track the changes.

BingoMEGA also tells you when you have bingo. The hints are two: the border of the card becomes purple and the BINGO button changes its color. All you have to do is click the BINGO button. You have to press the button to win.

To play in Automatic mode, open the Options dialog box and select the Auto Dauber check box. As a result, the AutoPlay & AutoBingo check box becomes available. The AutoPlay & AutoBingo option makes the game fully automatic. This means that the program will register you for the next game and will claim bingo for you, provided you have one.

Note: If you change the play mode while the game is in progress, the new mode will take effect when the next game starts.

The number of cards with which you play is set in BingoMEGA Options dialog box. See How to Change the Number of Cards
